Individual Asset Management AgreementOur core business is the management of assets under a discretionary individual management agreement. We execute this in a consequent and individual way, no matter if the assets are held in custody with us or with a third party bank. We offer comprehensive advice. Your personal advisor finds solutions concerning your individual requirements in private banking. He will consult the specialists in our group who are familiar with your specific needs. Naturally, he will help you to open security and current accounts, and he keeps you regularly informed regarding the development of your assets. Fee structure for own initiativeClients entrusting their safekeeping accounts to the Arvest Group have the choice of three different fee structures covering the whole range: either a flat fee calculated on the assets only; or, a profit participation of 10 % of net asset growth without any further administration fees; or, the very popular compromise. Our profit participation scheme takes effect only after all possible losses of previous years have been fully recovered. This is a decisive factor. We are thus equally as interested in avoiding losses as in achieving an above-average performance. Your needs therefore become our concern. Should the administration of your safekeeping account be carried out within the ARVEST Group, then Arvest Privatbank will not charge the usual custody fees to long-standing customers. Dynamic and disciplined investment styleWe pursue an active asset management in accordance with strict guidelines. For instance, we link the buying and selling of all securities monitored by us to price limits, supplemented by strategies relating to specific stocks, and by taking into consideration the related investment risk. We cultivate a dynamic investment style which involves the economic environment and the client's personal situation. Clients should not bear the sole responsibility for a fixed asset allocation. Together with our clients we determine their risk tolerance and maximal equity quota up to which they want to be invested. Agreeing on a maximum equity exposure only allows us to invest in more conservative asset classes in difficult times and to act anti-cyclically. We follow exactly the same guidelines, procedures and investment decisions when we invest our own funds. This principle has stood us in good stead in good and in bad times. As a consequence we avoid the usual conflict of interests. |
