HistoryOur company was established in 1974 as an asset management company by the name of Vermag AG. In 1978 it was granted the status of a securities trading house. As such we became a member of the Swiss Bankers’ Association in 1984. In 1987 we transformed to a private bank with full subordination under the Swiss Banking Law.
Since 2002 the Arvest Privatbank AG is conveniently accessible in Pfäffikon SZ located on the shore of the Lake of Zurich. The proximity to our sister companies Arvest Funds AG in the same building and the fiduciary Arvest AG in Richterswil enables a fast decision making process. Our locally based and entrepreneurial corporate culture is evidenced by the fact that control and ownership of the bank has never changed since inception.
