ARVEST Funds AG

Investment Policy

The ARVEST Global Stars Fund is a dynamic equity fund and invests primarily in worldwide blue chips (or other assets according to the sales prospectus). An independent and disciplined research process is the foundation of an active and flexible investment policy. The fund manager invests where he expects the largest gains. Investments are therefore not linked to a composition of a benchmark.

In our investment policy a long-range orientation based on fundamental and economic criteria is preferred to a short term and risky optimisation of return. Due account shall be taken of the principle of risk diversification and preservation of capital of the fund's assets.

Investment Objectives

The main investment objective of the ARVEST Global Stars Fund is to outperform the established global equity indexes on a long-term basis with a continuous and above-average performance.

A performance oriented fee structure motivates the fund management to achieve an absolutely positive return. In order to avoid losses caused by major setbacks in stock markets the fund manager may increase the fund's cash holdings. He may temporarily hold all assets in cash. Such phases can last a few months.

Investment Period

The fund is suitable for investors with an investment horizon of 3 or more years. A major part of the assets can be invested in equities. Therefore the investor should realise that the fund is subject to certain volatility. The achievement of the investment objectives cannot be guaranteed.
